Supernatural 8.02- "What's Up, Tiger Mommy" aka All the feels

For those of you on my FL that are NOT Supernatural fans, you are going to have to get use to having weekly freak outs on your FP because, well, Supernatural is causing all the feels this season and we're only two episodes in. You've been warned.

Well, first, I made a new album cover for My Life Is a Movie. It features the characters rather than the actors.

This isn't my knack, but what say you?

Now, on to the main attraction! SPN 8x02. And the way it caused feels. And we realized that our ship wasn't sinking, it's a submarine and wasn't in danger. It swims just fine. Fans wept with unexpected, overwhelming joy.

Let's start at the beginning to at least attempt some level of coherency. It won't last long. And I don't have enough gifs of this episode yet, or mock ups, but we'll muddle through.

TIGER MOMMY!!! DUDE! Kevin Trans mom is MADE OF FREAKING WIN!! I love this woman!! I admit I did not have high expectations for this episode, but it freaking blew me out of the water!

Then Dean is interrogating that guy and his PTSD kicks in and his sort of reliving a memory from Purgatory in which case he was interrogating a guy while trying to find Cas, and Dean goes into torture mode in 2.5 seconds and you can tell Sam is really not sure if he should be scared or not.

And I was all:

Follow be a healthy dose of OMG, that was HOT! *motions to above gif of Dean* when he did that. I was like "Oh, damn." and my brain kinda went to mush.
Then we were in Purgatory, and Dean is still hell bent on finding Cas, and then HE DOES, and you watch as the absolute militant air that he's carried this entire time just MELTS away as soon as he sees Cas and relief and joy wash over him and then and then THIS:



I kid you not, I punched air and screamed "YES! THERE IT IS! OH GOD, YES!!" loud enough the neighbors probably thought I was getting really good sex now that I think about it. Frankly, I'd have rathered my Destiel. Look at the way Cas just CLOSES HIS EYES when Dean hugs him. like he's freaking SAVORING it.

Then Dean is talking to Cas and Benny juts in demanding an explanation from Cas as to why Cas abandoned  Dean when they first got there and Dean immediately goes protective and defensive for Cas, and then Cas says 'No, we got here, I ran." and Dean looks so shocked and HURT and angry, then Cas explains that he's doing it to keep the monsters that are coming after him off of Dean's back, that in leaving he was trying to protect Dean, and then Dean is all-Gah, I need gifs of this scene, really. Anyway, Dean is just like "I can take on Leviathans with you by my side. We'll do this together. I am not leaving without you."

And all of Cas' resolution to stay away from Dean for the hunter's safety just MELTS at that, his who demeanor softening.

Meanwhile, in the background completely forgotten about, Benny is all:




Oh and then when they find out about the auction and they're like where can we get money, what do we have to bid with for the Word of God, and Sam's like, "Well, actually we do have something. *gaze slides over to Baby*"

Dean goes and stands protectively in front of baby. LOL

Oh God, and then we got to the rest of the characters and the auction and I LIKE THE NEW ANGEL!! He's ADORABLE!! And not an ass, which is WEIRD, we so RARELY run into those, and typically if we do, they're trouble-makers: Gabriel and Balthazar. Cas was all straight-laced when we first met him. This kid was adorable, I loved him, I wanted to hug him. I hope they keep him around. Especially when he got into a bidding war against Crowley for the Word of God.
"We bid the Mona Lisa."
"I bid the real Mona Lisa. The one where she's topless."
"Atlanta."
"The Moon."
Meanwhile Dean and Sam's jaws are LITERALLY ON THE FREAKING FLOOR. It was HYSTERICAL!!
Then Mrs. Tran bids her soul in order to save her son, and I was all "Crowley's gonna bid his soul and it's not gonna work" and then he does and it doesn't and I was:

You were LOUD, PROUD, and WRONG. You can't bid your soul, dumbass. You don't HAVE one, idiot. You already lost it for a bigger pecker and that's why YOU'RE A DEMON!! lol
I really hope he felt all manner of stupid for that. I'm still laughing at him.
Then, OMG, SAM is THOR!


Which MEANS we need Gabriel back because he is already canonically Loki! So we need them both in the show together again. I don't have gifs for this and it makes me sad.
Seriously though, I need more gifs from that episode. Of the new angel in all his adorableness. He goes by Alphie. I don't think we'll ever call him by his real name now. He's adorable. *hugs* And I need Sam as Thor. And Dean and Cas in purgatory. And just, ah! THE FEELS!!!

I'm a puddle of mush now. I... just... Jeremy Carver fixed everything from the past two seasons IN ONE FUCKING EPISODE!!! I officially love this man.

Is it weird my reactions were literally the same as yours..I mean for real.

And did you notice Alfie was the kid from the episode Bugs? And the pawn shop owner, if you ever watched QAF was Hunter? And Benny was another character int he show also another vampire?

I do admit I cried, like a lot, like the GIF from DW.

We may need help, like the kind you have to pay for.

And those kittens are so Dean and Cas as cats! LOL!

lol Glad you felt the same. And yeah, I knew about Alfie/Samandriel. Alfie is a better name for him than his normal name, since we already have a Sam/Sammy. Yes, Benny was in the episode with Nora and the vampires that feed on cows.

I have a convession to make... I can't really enjoy the new SPN episodes anymore. At least, not at the first watch. I just see Dean and he's freaking miserable and angry all the time, and that just makes me so sad! Where's the hope, guys? Really? Please send Cas back so that all the Angst falls of from Dean like when he saw him in Purgatory!!! I wanna see him smiling again!

But... ALL WHAT YOU SAID. This was a freaking GREAT episode! I need to watch again to be able to bask in all the awesomeness. The first time around, I was to suspicious at first and stunned later to have all the feels. I dunno... I was so disapointed from season 6 and 7 that I'm full of apprehension, I just can't shut it off anymore! At least, not immediately...

YES. Cas is sane. Ha, see, wasn't such a good idea to make him crazy! I guess they realised that and finally changed that. And ALL THE DESTIEL FEELS! Gah, is it possible? No feels when watching the episode and now I get all the feels thinking back? I really need to watch it again! These flashbacks where so fucking ladden with destiel feels!

I loved the new Angel after the first word he said. Kinda reminded me of Inias! I'm SO GLAD Cas still has some buddies up in heaven! And that they show up now kinda shows that there really is no order upstairs anymore? Cuz they weren't allowed before? LOVE.

Also. MOST BADASS MOM EVER. Exept for Mary, maybe, but still. She's freaking awesome!

And THOR!SAM. LOVE SO MUCH! And thanks for THIS AWESOME MANIP!

And the bidding war! Crowley stands up as badass as possible and shouts: "I bid my soul!" SO AWESOME!

AND... ALL WHAT YOU SAID. Freaking awesome! *Shuffles off to watch again*

I am happy with the fact that they actually cover the PTSD from the incident.

Dean and Castiel make me very happy.

Gabriel as Loki with Sam as his brother would be interesting.
