SPN Fanfic: The Path We Choose 1/?

Below is my first attempt at my first real SPN fanfic, not just a quick one shot. This is actually just the prologue, the feel of it will change in coming chapters as the involved characters grow and it won't be as self-reflective as this chapter. Summary: When Dean finds the re-released Winchester Gospels with all new books, he buys them, knowing full well they will tell him what his next battlefield is going to look like. Though they tried proving Chuck's prophecies wrong and failed before, Dean wouldn't be a Winchester if he was just willing to accept that as the final answer.
